Schroeder
President / CEO
Ernie
is a graduate of California State University at Fullerton
with a Bachelor degree in Business Administration. He is a
Certified Property Manager with the Institute of Real Estate
Management headquartered in Chicago, IL. Ernie began
investing and managing apartment buildings in 1969. He
oversees the renovation and capital improvement work at all
properties managed by SMC and coordinates the field staff,
apartment rental marketing, and pre-acquisition area surveys.

Chief
Financial Officer
Paul is a graduate of the University of Southern California
with a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering and a
Masters degree in Business Administration. Paul began
investing in apartment buildings in the early 1970's. He is
responsible for office operation, investor and lender
relations.
Angela
B. Erminpour
Property Supervisor
Angela joined SMC in 1993. She oversees all aspects of
property management including recruiting, training, policy
and procedure implementation, orientation, market research,
and human relations. She has an extensive background in
residential property management and over 18 years of
experience in all phases of property management. Mrs.
Erminpour is a graduate of Clovis Salgado College and a
member of the SCAA. She is a licensed Real Estate
Salesperson, CAM certified, Career Track certified, IACET
certified, and REACT certified.
Terry
Hardisty
Property Supervisor
Terry graduated from University of Phoenix with a
Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He has over
15 years of accounting and project management experience in
the residential and retail industries. He is also a licensed
Real Estate Broker. Terry oversees unit turnovers &
renovations, employee relations, market research and human
resources for Schroeder Management Company.
Lara
Merkow
Property Supervisor
Lara has approximately eight years experience in all
phases of property management. For the past four years she
has supervised thirteen apartment communities with Schroeder
Management Company including three property rehabilitation
programs. Prior to her property management experience, Lara
worked in the medical field as a nurse, specializing in
Pulmonary and Critical Care.
Darla
Orme
Property Supervisor
Darla began her career on an upscale 247 unit
condominium and townhome property. She has over 32 years of
expertise in real estate, multi-family property management,
as well as new construction and rehabilitations in Southern
California. During this time, Darla held senior managing and
supervising positions with notable management companies and
corporations. Darla also found time to acquire her nursing
degree while working for a law firm and an escrow company.
Darla joined SMC in February of 2003 with a vast spectrum of
wisdom and achievements through her working partnership with
owners, resident managers, and administrative staff. She has
brought spectacular performance with renovations, lease-ups,
take-overs, and stabilization of apartment communities.
Darla is certified with C.A.M. and A.R.M.
Asia Pham
Property Supervisor
Asia graduated from CSU Pomona in 1991 with a Bachelor
of Science in Business Administration – Finance, Real Estate
& Law. During and after graduation, Asia has worked in
different industries dealing with finances, accounting and
management. In 1998, Asia joined Schroeder Management
Company and has been involved in many different aspects of
the company – beginning in the accounting department,
administrative tasks, and currently involving property
supervision. Asia is a CPM Candidate and a member of the
Institute of Real Estate Management of Orange County.
